जनसँख्या कटौती के लक्ष्य के तहत राजस्थान सरकार ने वर्ष 2001 में व्यवस्था की थी की सरकारी कार्मिकों के केवल दो संतान ही होनी चाहिए, इस से ज्यादा होने पर कार्मिकों पर अनुशासनात्मक कारवाई की जायेगी और दो से ज्यादा बच्चों वालों को सरकारी सेवा में नहीं लिया जा सकेगा | फिर दिनांक 11.05.2016 को सरकार ने इस नियम को विलोपित कर दिया, सो अब बच्चों की संख्या पर किसी तरह की पाबंदी नहीं है |

It is a district or sub-divisional hospital or community health centre which has the facilities for obstetric surgery, blood transfusion, anaesthesia, specialist pediatric care, operation theatre and required equipment. This centre also has the facilities for MTP, tubectomy, vasectomy and pediatric care for high risk neonates and other severe problems of early childhood. It provides specialist services in addition to all the services available at a PHC.
