Dr Sarjeev Singh Yadav appointed as principal of Government Dental College, Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Senior dental surgeon Dr Sarjeev Singh Yadav has been appointed Principal of the Government Dental College (GDC), Afzalgunj. His appointment is anticipated to bring a fresh perspective and renewed focus to the college’s mission of advancing dental education and patient care.
Dr Yadav, who has served at Government Dental College (GDC) for the past 30 years, assumed the role of Principal on Monday. GDC is the only government dental teaching hospital in Telangana.
He is a graduate of Madras Dental College and GDC Hyderabad and has dedicated nearly three decades to teaching at the college. He has also completed postgraduate studies in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.

As per the Telangana Today reports, Dr Yadav stated, “I want to ensure that students, senior faculty, and both clinical and non-clinical staff at the Government Dental College have a conducive environment for work and study. My goal is to make sure everyone is content while performing their regular duties, as this is crucial for maintaining high standards of education and providing quality treatment for patients in need.”
